It was recently discovered by players of the mobile game Pokémon GO that the Eeveelution nicknaming trick also works for Leafeon and Glaceon. If you want to obtain a Leafeon, give your Eevee the nickname Linnea before it evolves. If you want to obtain a Glaceon, name your Eevee Rea.
In case you still haven't heard which nicknames to give your Eeeve for the other Eeveelutions, I'll list them here for you: Pyro = Flareon Rainer = Vaporeon Sparky = Jolteon Tamao = Umbreon Sakura = Espeon During Playstation's State of Play livestream today, a new minute-long trailer was shown for the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII remake. Previous trailers have featured Cloud, Barret, and Tifa, but this time we got a glimpse of Aerith and Sephiroth, too, as well as some gameplay footage. Tetsuya Nomura put out this statement with the reveal of the trailer today: "Most of the plans are already in place in the run up to launch, so please bear with us a little longer until we can release more information next month." Square Enix first announced production of this remake back in 2015 during the annual gaming conference E3, and ever since, footage and updates of the game have been few and far in between. Square promises more info will be released in June, most likely during E3, which will take place from June 11-13. Atlus recently revealed more information about Persona 5: The Royal and some of the new elements the game will have. These additions include new confidants, Kasumi being one of them, as well as twenty new songs. Atlus has also confirmed that the entire new semester of the school year will be more content than what was added in Persona 4 Golden. Apparently, it will also be easier now for players to gain experience and level up at a faster rate, to move through the game more quickly. Last but not least, if you've previously completed the original Persona 5, you can receive a bonus item if you have the existing P5 data on your console when you start a new game on P5R.
Today Atlus has revealed that P5S stands for Persona 5 Scramble, a new title in the franchise to be released for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. In the minute-long trailer, no official release date has been given yet, but we were able to get a brief glimpse of the gameplay and cutscenes. It appears to be a Musou-style game, similar to Fire Emblem Warriors or Hyrule Warriors. At the end of the trailer, a mysterious new character is shown; a girl with red hair and greenish-blue eyes. Today after the Persona Super Live concert, Atlus released a 3-minute teaser on Persona 5: The Royal. There are a lot of new details to digest, so let's dive into it (light spoiler warning): First things first, two new characters have been introduced. Kasumi Yoshizawa is a new member of the Phantom Thieves, the female character Atlus has teased previously. Her Phantom Thief outfit has been revealed, as well as clips showing her in combat. Takuto Maruki is introduced as Shujin Academy's guidance counselor. He appears to be a confidant, the Consultant Arcana. Atlus has confirmed that Persona 5: The Royal will be receiving new cutscenes and music, new Palaces and areas to visit in Tokyo such as the Kichijouji District, as well as an entire new semester at Shujin Academy. The game has other brand new features including updated dialogue sprites, special attacks, and phone features, in which you can share selfies with the Phantom Thieves group chat. There are some elements of the game that were briefly teased that have fans speculating. A shot of a strange young man only known as "ikemen" (a Japanese term for a "handsome young man") for now, was shown speaking to the protagonist in his room. Fans speculate this is Morgana's human form, as he resembles Morgana in appearance and mannerisms. They both have blue eyes, dark hair, and use the pronoun "wagahai" when referring to himself. Morgana sports a yellow neckerchief, while this man wears a gold chain around his neck. There is also an image of Sojiro, Futaba, the protagonist, and a mysterious woman in Leblanc together. This woman greatly resembles Wakaba, Futaba's mother, and fans wonder if she is possibly alive in this new version of the game. P5R will be released in Japan on Halloween this year, and it will reach the West and other areas in Asia sometime next year. A specific date on when has yet to be revealed. Atlus has announced more info on the game will be coming on May 9. Tomorrow on the second day of the Persona Super Live concert, Atlus promises to reveal what P5S is.
